A once popular tradition now abandoned might be appropriate. Name the corner after the first driver to go off and not be able to continue. Think Arendts at Bridgehampton.

during the early days of the project Nathan Gardella (our then Treasurer) said the Palmer the town was named after was a famous judge and thus we should find one real hard corner and call it "the judge".

The one I call "Bergwerk" is because of the corner at the Nurburgring for which it is named. That was a corner that almost cost me a car. It's a blind corner and initially appears to open up, and then you get into it and realize you read it completely wrong.
I figured "Oh S**t!" probably wouldn't be acceptable to print on a map of the track.
On the 914 forum there's a guy with a handle of "roblav1" (no proper name listed in sig) that made the following comments in response to my post:
"There is a corkscrew - I call it Fred's corkscrew"
"T7 was changed from my original drawing because of a couple ferns found where I drew the track... "wetlands". That was originally straighter. The name ought to have something to do with that.
"T8 is my favorite corner. I called it the "Archimedes screw"."
The uphill hairpin right turn (T5?) we named in our video "The Kanc" after the Kancamangus Highway in NH... It instantly reminded Tim, Stephen and I of that road...
If you want to name a turn "The Judge" I vote the last set of turns coming onto the front straight, specifically the last right apex! It will be one of the most important set of turns on this track!
the long left turn after you reach the top of the mountain reminds me of a spiral... Or a screw as others have mentioned!
the one thing this track needs is a chairlift to a viewing area from a paddock located the top of the mountain!!!

I dunno Ray. "The Kanc" sounds like a cold sore to me.

My plan is to not race there until all of the corners have been named.
