Does anyone know if there will be tire support at the track that weekend?

    Russell,
They have always traditionally been there, but I cannot guarantee 100% that they will be - we have not been notified yet and usually are not until just a few days before the event.

You don't want to go to local tires Sunday morning again?

Well damn, if Russel's going to be there...

I ask this every year, but whatever: What time zone is Indy in right now?

Indy is in the Eastern time zone and observes daylight savings time when it applies.

I bet those orange honda's could set a new track record this year.....

Nah, I doubt that. If I come, it'll just be a shakedown to make sure everything's working ok. Trying to race again the following weekend, so I'd hate to bang something up.

Why do I feel like I use to gain an hour when driving out there? I might be losing my mind. I am getting kind of old now.

Yep, thankfully we joined the 20th and possibly 21st century.
We are now EST and observe DST.
I love having the sun still up after 8:00 pm....

Yup, I played golf until 8 tonight.

Is there going to be roundy-round racing I can illegally sneak into on Saturday night this year? Being that you're EST now, the sun will still be up for prime beer drinking hours.

Nope, no roundy-round. As much fun as it is to sneak in, it plays complete havoc with our schedule on Saturday afternoon. We have screamed and bitched enough about it that they have finally figured out that they cannot use other parts of the facility on the weekends we are running. Really, this is a good thing.

How about a foot race between you and Downing in the paddock? First one to have a coronary wins?

Only if he has at least five cigarettes in his mouth, and has done at least four Tequilla shots. Man.....I'd still lose.
