Viet, is this just for Miata's or can any body run?
What is the sound requirement?

Tim, the details are here: http://www.percydesign2.com/lagunaseca/
It says "Your Miata (or OTM)". It took me a bit of Googling to find that "OTM" means "Other Than Miata". So pretty much anything goes, with the usual requirements for convertibles, and nothing too extreme I'm guessing (no open-wheel cars etc.).
The page furthermore states the sound limit for the event is 92dB (as measured by the track's sound monitoring).
Let me know if you're interested in taking my spot. Thanks!

I wish I could... sounds like fun but:
The race car's in pices
The 92dB sound means a street exhaust
My street Z3 is an mid '97 early pre-roll hoops, it does have a roll structure in the windshield frame, but no one believes me. They want to see the useless hoops behind the seat
Finally, I can't take this Friday off...
Good Luck, maybe you should take John's advice and post it here: http://www.calclub.com/forums/index.php

No sense letting $310 go to waste I guess... I'll do a few laps in the 'Speed 3 tomorrow. I flushed the brakes tonight and checked the pads--still around ~70% after 15k miles on the odometer, wow. Time to stop babying the new car.
