What is the baseline tire comparison?

I have run the Nitto NT-01 with the IT7 guys as well as on my historics 914. I found it consistent, long-lasting, and a great grip-value for the money.

Any experience with the Toyo RR? If so, how do they compare with the Nitto NT-01?

I haven't run the Toyo in quite a long time, like mid-00s when it was required for SM.

I'm told the Nitto NT-01 are using the old Toyo design and carcass molds.
