Can't wait! I'll have the IT7 out, ran it during the HSR weekend a couple of weeks ago and it should be a blast.

Many of you have already found the event on MSR (thank you for registering early!), but now that the website transition has settled down here's the link to the "official" information about the 2012 ARRC by GRM at Road Atlanta:

http://www.atlantascca.com/american-road-race-of-champions/the-2012-arrc/

This is the final/deciding event in the 2012 CoolShirt Systems IT National Tour and all five classes are still up for grabs, so we're expecting ALL the serious IT drivers to show up that weekend (and Jeff Young will be there, too ).

Also a reminder that those who are signed up by noon EDT on Monday, Oct 22, will be included in the Spectator Guide, so enter early and enter often!

See y'all at the track...

Spectator Deadline is Monday, Oct 22

Early registration closes on Monday, October 29, but we'll be pulling the Entry Lists for the Spectator Guide the evening of October 22. If you want your team (and sponsor!) to be listed, sign up before Monday night.

As always, Atlanta Region does not process payment until after the event weekend and no-shows receive full refunds, so there's no reason not to sign up now if you're thinking about coming.

See y'all in a couple of weeks...

Kirk...don't you have that buffed out yet? Chuck

I'm going to be spending my ARRC allowance and a lot more to get back on track. At this point, I don't even know for sure what I'm going to do. In some ways, getting a race car completely wrote off is soul destroying. In other ways, it's kind of freeing. Either way, it's expensive.

Chuck doesn't understand that people have "jobs" and "budgets" and "other time constraints". He thinks we are all retired like him, and that our wives are perfectly happy to see us disappear into the garage for days at a time.

Kirk, don't mind Bowie...he is just jealous...I have dined at the totaled car table and understand your pain. Hope you get it back together soon. Chuck

So I click on live timing and get formula cars - 14 cars in 7 classes.

Please, in the name of all that is holy, make it stop.

It's done, it's over, my Enduro Co-Driver wanted to do the ARRC Race this year so he did!! Started 3d and finished 4th.........after running laps 2 thru 20 with only the Hand Brake (Glad we left it on the car). Right front steel braided brake line chaffed thru and he blew it out when he "smoked the Tires" avoiding Michael Alexander's crash at turn 2. Driver claims to have missed Alexander by the thickness of the HOOSER Sticker on the front bumper, then discovered no brakes at turn 3, drove the rest of the race on Handbrake and Gearbox!!! A tip of the Hat:happy204:and a real ATTABOY to my co-driver, Ken Stegall.
Sunday's ARRC 3Hour Enduro started in a "Light Drizzle as the cars left the grid, but the weather radar showed the rain passing thru quickly (yeah in about 40 minutes) so we started the race on Hooser Dry tires, and my co-driver worked his way up to 11th overall by the end of lap 6.
by-the-way, we were running my '84 Honda Civic and when the dust settled at the end of three hours we finished 13th Overall, ahead of 2 ITS Cars, 3 ITX cars, an ITR and a Spec Miata.
Will try to download video of the first few laps later.

We ran the enduro in my IT7 car, we had transmission issues, had to drive one handed keeping it in gear, fumbling for gears, etc. We finished though so we were happy, lots of fun!
