does anyone sell 15x7 5x120 et40 wheels around 13lbs or under? Last year I ran d force 17x8.5 on my ITR car but would like to try a lighter wheel and go back to a 225 tire like I had on my e36... I had great SSR's back then but can not find anything. My current dforce are 16.2 lbs and I want to experiment a little.

Thanks
Greg

D-force ltw-5 in 15x7 is a 13lb rim, but it only comes in e-30 4-bolt fit. in 16x7 kosi K1's are still 15lbs, that beats my oe rims by 3-4lbs, but it's not as light as your target weight.

Check this thread I started earlier:

I needed a five on five 4.5", or five on five 114.3. Not much to be had for me, but maybe some of the links will help you. We settled on Spinwerks at $220 a wheel at 11.2 lbs ($208 listed in thread a few months ago but when I ordered I got them down to $220 each, from $275 each list price Dec 2011). Spinwerks is hard to find info from (no website), 562-467-1522 and talk to Peggy. They sell through dealers or direct, but if you have the number you can bypass the dealer and save lots of coin. Spinwerks don't care about the bolt pattern as all wheels are made to order, pricing is the same, therefore you can get the five on 120mm easily.

The lightest wheels, the Volks at 9.7 lbs, didn't come in my the native pattern and would have required the use of adapters which would have resulted in > 11.2 lb weight, plus having to deal with the adapters which isn't fun. And the Volks were up around >$450 per wheel (quoted to me, YMMV). If they come in your native pattern they'd be a decent choice.

So yes, you can get 15x7s at under 13 lbs, way under (relatively speaking), but you'll have to pay a bit of coin for it.

Will 15X7 ET27 work? If so stock E30 M3 basketweaves would be a good option. they weigh abt 15 lbs.

I do have a set of 15X7 SSR Competition wheels with 2 full sets of 72.6mm aluminum hubcentric rings. I believe the wheels are E36 offset, appx ET38. I haven't been intending on selling them as they are about 9lbs and are no longer in production. I might be persuaded...money talks.

We have some 3 piece Taylor wheels that were from our previous ITS E36 effort. They're in storage now, I'm told we still have 6 or 7. Asking $50 each plus shipping.
