Note, it now says not less than 45 minutes, not "no more than" like it used to. What I was told is that they will now specify 45 minutes for all Pro-IT races, and that is what the supps for the 3/20-21 event show. It's for monetary reason which I won't discuss.

45 minutes or 20 laps, whichever is longer. Assuming no FCY and the leader averaging a 1:40 lap, 45 minutes works out to 27 laps.
This allowed us to sanction the Pro-IT races as Enduros instead of a Restricted Regional, which saves us about $350 in sanction fees on our National/Pro-IT weekends. As a bonus, those running the National and both Pro-ITs get to count three races toward fulfilling their licensing requirements (three sanction numbers instead of two).
