Shorten the search limit.

Could we please shorten the search limit to three letters?

It would be really nice to be able to search ITR, ITB etc...

Edit: to three letters instead of words (thanks tom)

I agree. Try searching for things like 1st gen RX7.

Except I think you meant letters, not words.

use * to make it 4 characters

example itb* will return 7 pages

*ITB* will give an isolated 3 char result also.

This is limited because the search function searches character strings (even contained within words). Therefore enabling smaller searches has the capability to stress the database as the search index in increased dramatically.
