Matt, I've only been racing since '03. I don't think that's a bad thing since it has been long enough to know how things are done, but still fresh enough to remember what it was truly like as a newbie. Technically, the GCR is a ton of pages long. You and I now know the sections that are important to us, but I'm still not convinced newbies do.

The issue with a Cliff Notes version of the GCR is that one really needs to refer to the GCR when learning the rules. I do think there are opportunities for it to be distributed in a manner more user friendly.
