Just in case anyone didn't see the email, registration for MARRS preferred numbers just opened. I'm now officially car #87 in ITA (group D). (my first number, can you tell?)

I'm sure there are a few others in my position, but what happens with drivers that are hoping to get signed off at the next WDCR school in April? Since The MARRS season is only a couple weeks after school do we just get whatever numbers are left? Since we can't choose numbers until we have successfully finished two schools and have a competitive license how does that work?

Unless I'm mistaken, you can reserve a number as soon as they are open to the public - I don't think (correct me if I'm wrong Gregg/Marshall) you have to have your comp license to do so. You will need to register at DLB Racing's website, but if you've registered for the school you already have an account there. As far as which numbers will be available, yes you will have to choose from the leftovers, as prior year MARRS drivers get first choice.

if it is a good cigar, you may end up running half the race glued to the front of an ITR car.
