I just want to make sure I interpret the rules correctly. I run an IT2 CRX in Canada (which is the same as ITA in the USA) and our wheel size rule is slightly different however I want to do some cross border racing in the near future. I currently run 15X7" rims as it is legal in our class here. The car originally came with 14" rims. As per the rule book can I run 15" legally in the Us?

Cars originally equipped with twelve (12) inch wheels may fit thirteen (13) inch wheels. Cars originally equipped with metric 365 wheels may fit fourteen (14) inch wheels, and cars originally equipped with metric 390 wheels may fit fifteen (15) inch wheels. The above-mentioned cars as well as those cars originally equipped with thirteen (13) inch or fourteen (14) inch wheels may fit up to a fifteen (15) inch wheel.[/b]

I am about to buy new wheels soon and don't want to waste money buying the wrong size....

That's the way I read it... 15x7 is okay in ITA, even if the car came on 14's.
