That's not my methodology.....I really think MY car is the last of the priorities when making a decision like that.
My priorities, in order, are:
1-The other guys safety (all)
2- The other guys car
3- my stuff.
If I were there, and I knew there was less than the required space my car needed, then no, no way. It's not my call to decide if that guy "minds" me breaking off his tire valve, or creasing his fender, or whatever.
If I made the call my car would fit, then yes. Of course, I could be wrong, the decisions need to be made fast, but I'd never try that thinking it was a no fit.
It's not fair to anyone.
