Put a mark (sharpie) on the input and output shaft. Put the tranny in fifth. One full turn of the input will give ¾ of a turn in the output shaft. Any less than that and it is the wrong ratio.

oops I got that backwards. 3/4 turn of the input shaft is one turn of the output shaft.
