Just wondering if anyone's going to run the regional on Friday the 25th? I'll be in Ogden on bussiness and am making plans to possible work it on Saturday/maybe Sunday depending on my flight back to So-Cal.

James

Sorry for the delay, I've been out of the country and my connection there was terrible. About all I wanted to do was check email and then get off.

Anyway, I plan to race the regional, then I'll be chief of tech for the N/N. All this assuming that I have an engine with which to race, but that's a long story...

Hey Ty,

Finally I'll get to meet you on the Grid. Friday's a test day, I read the schedual wrong. Good luck with your motor issues.

EIther you or I have an old copy of the supps. As I understand it, the Friday afternoon regional was a late addition, and the preliminary release of the supps listed all day Friday as a non-sanctioned test day. I *think* that the current supps call for non-sanctioned practice all day Thursday and Friday morning, followed by a two-group regional Friday afternoon, followed by a double national Saturday and Sunday.

I WILL confirm this and get back to you. Although I've committed to work the race, I have no intention of dragging my car up there if the regional is off. It's 660 miles of mostly two lane road from my house to Toelle, UT (or 850 miles of interstate highway).

Finally I'll get to meet you on the Grid. [/b]

Either on the grid Friday or over in impound the rest of the weekend.

Good luck with your motor issues.

We'll see how that comes out. <_<

DOH! We're still a little new to this whole process, and somehow we missed a bunch of the IT classes in the supps. The online registration does have them all, so anyone that wants to run IT can!!!

Hey Ty,

Great meeting you in person. I hope you had an uneventfull tow home. I'll let you know when we come through on Rt.66 in late August.

James

Uneventful, just long, around 12 hours.

If you're heading west on Rt.66 we're about 15 miles south of Albuquerque.

I always have cold beer on hand.
