Hey, is there any way to adjust the camber on my Miata without the use of a camber gauge? I am new to Miatas, any input greatly appreciated!
BTW I want - camber.
Thanks!
Simon

You can get close with a digital level and ingenuity
Set your ride height first. You can just set each corner to the maximum camber. The adjusters have marks on them so you can see them. Be sure to check the toe-in/out when you finish. Use a string.

i haven't played with camber on my car myself yet, but i know how it works, and i think ed's suggestion is pretty good.
step 1) set ride heights
step 2) crank the camber bolts to give you the max possible
step 3) set toe

Simon, are you the young man from a year or so ago that was hanging around this site. Just curious. If your the young man or not it really don't matter. Without a camber gauge, or other devise you could drop a plunb bob string & take two measurements at the wheel/tire. One measurement from the plum bob string to the tire at the top of the tire & one measurement from the plum bob string to the tire at the bottom of the tire & caluculate the negative (or positive angle) angle.
Hope this helps..............
Have Fun ; )
