I was rewiring the kill swithch on my 88 CRX. When I tested the circuit I heard an electrical-crack. I now have a Code 20 on the ECU. I replace the main fuse box, and the ECU. Code is still there. Any ideas as to what I should check next.

I fixed without you guys. A freind who works on British autos for a living gave the clue I needed.

What is it that caused the code 20? I have the same issue and I can't get rid of it.

[color=#330033]It very likely a ground problem.
Check the grouding at G201. It is the (black and white dot) wire from the three wire connector in the main fuse box on the fender. I had cut the entire harness off for the lighting. That harness includes that ground too.
My car is run in F-production car so the light harness is of no further use.
If it is not that it may be an open circuit at that same connector. I followed the step by step in the manuel at page 23-11.
This is a difficult code, even a ceritifed Honda mechanic could not figure it out.
