Has anybody bought the 2nd door bar for the Autopower bolt-in cage for a 1st Gen RX7? I was wondering how they fit. Seems that with minor variances (slop) in the sleeved connections, there might be some problems with the fit.

Also, do they add the bar below or above the current diagonal, single bar?

Not bought one personally, but seen one installed. So far as orientation, the new bar is installed in a similar fashion to the lower driver side bar.

Autopower will sell a kit of sorts, which includes two stubs, sleeves, hardware and the bar. The stubs have a bit of extra length on them so they can be trimmed to fit.

I have an auto power cage that I took out of a second gen RX-7 that I would like to sell for $300. It does not have the second side bar, but that could be added easily.

Comes with all the backing plates for bolting to the floor and all the assembly bolting for the sleeves. It has a petty bar added too, for additional structural support.
