Hey guys,

My name is Jay Mauney and I am the publicity director for the Florida Region, crazed endurance racer and assistant race chairman for the Kumho Tropical 12 Hr at Miami - Homestead Speedway and our race is definitely a go. See our ad in Sportscar (just got it out of the mail box) p 41. The ad says we will have more than $10K in cash prizes - but I that number is going to increase. Only 62 days to go so you guys start working! The track is 40 minutes from South Beach and the same to KeyLargo.

But most importantly I want to let you know that the "Series" Roland has been talking about is also a definite. This is the most excited I've been since my 1st endurance race in 2003. We are working on a National level website for the series, there will be a e-newsletter, substantial cash purse, unbelievable contingency prizes, great trophies, tow funds!!! I have been in email correspondence with Jim Julow CEO of SCCA and we are working on an end of the season event similar to the run offs.

Great job what are the dates of the events and are all the events equal in points ?
got any shorter distance events in the mix ?

We are still working on the point structure. I'll let you know as soon as it is final. Hoping to have it all done in the next week or so.
