Phil Hunt said he would help me and do the chip. Now if only I could drive like him.

Keep in mind that Albin was CIS.

Still is CIS-E on the GP car. Mathis is as well - but the only other option for him is carbs...
It can work very well. I am still on the fence with this stuff, but the CIS-E already being in my car, and having the fueling figured out for it, it gets the nod for now.

Personally I prefer plain old K-Basic or K-Lamda CIS and an MSD 6AL if I can't run a modern programable ecu system (ie Haltec, Electromotive,etc..)

While we're all having an 80's flashback I thought I'd bring these out of the back room again...

These are CIS-E boxes from the VW Golf Cup. I have written the Bosch part # on them.
They have all been modified to suit the cars they were raced in.

As you can see, 1 is for a GX engine and 2 for the RD. I think these were modified by VW in the USA or Canada back when there actually was engineering support for racing here in NA.

If anyone wants these to examine or experiment with they are $40 each. Otherwise they go back into the 'museum' with all of my other very rare and priceless VW Motorsport paraphernalia.
