I know, it's way early, but this section needed a second thread!

Here's what we know:
Nothing, LOL!

But here's a GUESS.

Andy has an idea that we'll get 110 minutes of race time...
and lets guess that entires will be $290 -330.
...and there will be a test day or some extra track time available for learning the course the day before.
...and that the Region will make a serious effort at scrutineering and ensuring legality.

Also, lets just say that there won't be any: TV, Prize money and few if any contingencies, at least this year.

So, who's going??

I'll say "Yes" dependant on the scheduling of my traditional Charity Swim across Long Island Sound (Between Port Jefferson, LI and Bridgeport, CT...donations welcome, it benefits the St Vincent Cancer Program.. ;) )

Count me in!! And I don't care what the entry fee is!!

Should we start planning the caravan from the North East??

I'd go just to watch those two! I better not have to swim that day!...I would LOVE to go. New track, new compettition, sounds like a hoot!

I'd love to make it, but I've got too remodel my other house and move in next year, so the time isn't there. The race schedule will be drastically reduced until the new shop gets built. Hope it's a success, though.

You know Mid-Ohio has TURNS, don't you? :birra:

It's on my schedule should a certain thing happen........... :snow_cool:

Yes and I didn't do to bad on those turns during the unmentionable organizations runoffs. :D It alaso has a nice long straight in the back. I have 4 days of track time under my belt there at one event. But of course there is always room for improvment. Mid 45's first time at the track in the handling pig.

thats funny Joe, I heard you were last in class. :D
[/b]

Yeah, but he had some tough competition!!!

But he did have the honor of standing all by himself on the podium!! <"L" on forehead icon>

I had plenty of competion when the voices in my head started fighting with each other. I was racing against me,myself and I also some guy frank was there he's new. :D

I had them photo shop out the big L out for the magazine.

Joe, I didn't even realize you were at Mid Ohio last summer. I wish I would've known.

Of course I will be there in ITA, and we'll most likely have Brian Ehmer in the ITS Prelude too. It's always a good possibility that one, if not both, of our ITC cars will be there too.

Yes I was there. I had a blast. Always wanted to run the track after seeing the runoffs on tv. Unfortunately no one in SE-R cup decided to show so I ran the class anyway. I was generously rewarded for showing up anyway. I plan on doing the IT festival and if there is nothing going on in the NE leaving the rig by a buddies house for the few weeks until the NASA runoffs.

i'd like to go but am also trying to qualify for the runoffs with my mostly ITB somewhat limited prep GP car. not that big of deal to convert the car between the two classes but there is a national that may be needed to qualify at grattan that weekend per the tentative schedule.

grattan is 70 miles round trip vs. 700 round trip to mid-ohio.

also trying to save $$ for the ARRC.

all of this depends on family health issues as well.

i put myself at 50/50 at best so all of my comments regarding preferences of pro/club course can be taken with a grain of salt. none of that would be a show stopper but runoffs has priority.

If I have the cash, and the time off... oh and Stephen, lol

It was in our discussion the other night as 1 of the three events we really want to do.

Raymnd "IT Festival, NARRC Runoffs, ARRC, Enduro here or thier late in the season" Blethen

Depending on the date and my schedule - I should be there in a mid-pack ITA car. (or DFL - depends on the day! ;) )
[/b]

DFL? not if I'm there! But who knows, maybe the winter will be good to the car.

Wouldn't miss it.

grattan is 70 miles round trip .... [/b]

Gee Tom, we must live pretty close to each other (I'm about 5 minutes from the Grattan track). Do you know if we've met? I didn't remember another IT car in the neighborhood.
