    Do you think that this is a good setup to replace the airbox in an Audi 5cyl? (Just the intake part, not the top).

    I like having something around the element so that you can pull air from the away from the engine side, That's open on all sides, Maybe if you add a heat shield to one or two sides.

    theres actually a metal bit off early volvo 240's iirc that will bolt onto the bottom of the fuel distro/airflow plate iirc.. its got a 3" opening on it so you can run a filter or ducting to get better ariflow..
