Since we have Now purchased 2 Yes 2 :119: 2nd gen cars interested in some of the People/Company's connected with Them to see if still around. Apparently both cars where built by Autocraft Racing in Floral Park New York or Deer Park Ny are they still around can't seem to use reverse lookup to check phone Number. Previous owners of the "parts car" where Carol Ashley the a John Wilbourne in Connecticut. anyone know if they are still involved in racing? Also the parts car apparently had work done by "Mostly Motorsports Mazda" in Stratford Connecticut. It has an unsual filter set up in it has in the stock oil filter position an adapter that converts the filter to a dropin cartridge filter only marking I can see is a "W-7" on the top plate you remove to change the cartridge Ah shades of the days when pops 51 Chevy coupe had the optional filer for the "Blue flame six" anyway any info someone can provide will be appreciated. Hope everyone had a great day today (BurP) TW

googling autocraft racing and NY brings up some World Challenge results for AJ Ashley of Queens NY, from 2001 in BMW 328i.

googling Ashley and NY and SCCA brings up World Challenge result from 97, AJ in a T2 Rx-7 (one of your cars?) from floral park NY

nothing else interesting that I see (I assume you tried this?)

No I hadn't tried That. I would suspect in 97 world challenge they would be gen 3 cars Both our cars where/are club racers unfortunatlly the parts car took a heavy hit at Limerock in August. I suppose a frame Magician could prod pull and push the tub back into line. We bought for parts for the primary car( yes I'm still married).

AJ is still around (and just as fast as always) - saw him at one or two EMRA events this year with a small crowd of BMWs. You might want to post on the EMRA Bulletin Board (http://www.pliner.net/appmb/486a10/) to see if anybody knows how to get in touch with him if the information above doesn't work.
