Default Anyone have a spare 1st gen dash?

Howdy folks. Thought I would ask here before I start combing the yards, but does anyone have a spare dash hanging around? The previous owner cut off the portion of the dash that runs down and around where the radio and heat controls used to be and David said he'd kick my ass if I didn't fix it.

Could I fab one out of expanding foam? If I did it right I could make it look like an yellow/orange beard. Sounds kind of cool to me. Maybe I could put some switches and lights into it before it dries.

    Thanks!

Naw Ben that ain't what David said. David said if you beat his a$$ on the race track he would kick your a$$. Hey, if ya put a real dash in the thing it wouldn't take me a heart beat to find another illegal elimination that mysteriously happened with your car.

Ben, race it & Have Fun
    David

ps:If someone busts your balls then make it legal. Have ya viewed Bill's post about alignment tools for the plastic car ?

Ever since I bought this ride I've been spending all my money making it legal instead of making it go fast. I have no idea how the previous owner got away with so much. At least I now know what "turn key" means to some people. I'm just happy that I've gotten rid of a lot of his naughty stuff (illegal small tubing cage and lightened fly wheel to name a few) and turned faster times at the same tracks while doing it. Hell, the original engine blew up and now I'm running a junk yard special. I wonder what mysterious things would have been found in that thing.

Trust me, I'm doing whatever I can, along with the help of people like you, to make this thing as legal as can be. I have no interest in cheating just to race. I have plenty of fun just racing as it is.

So now that I have every eye in the paddock looking at my car, does anyone have a spare dash?

If your looking for my car it's a silver rx7 with red numbers on the door. (tee hee hee!)

Just to clarify, Ben's car would be a Silver #55. It's easy to find in the paddock, just look for the Mazda flag flying.

If some old guy comes up to you and tries to tell you that it really is his, just ignore him. Senility has set in!!
