Default so what class are the 92-95 Civic Si's in?

Ok, I've followed a lot of the discussion and been reading the fastrack updates but am still confused.

The '94 Honda Civic EX coupe is now classed in ITA? Correct? What weight is it listed at for ITA?

So what if you had a 92, 93, or 95 EX coupe? Are they not listed yet?

Where does the 92-95 Si fall as of now, i know it is currently ITS but will it change soon? Will it be classed in ITA for the '05 season or is it going to take until '06? Any idea what the weight will be?

    Just curious.

    thanks.

Here's an earlier thread with even more background, I think...

    thanks. that does help.

1 question though. I am lacking on D series knowledge. Were the 92-94 Si's non-VTEC? I have no idea, I thought they were all d16z6 engines. If that is the case is it legal under the update/backdate rule to put in the 95 spec SOHC VTEC engine. I had no idea the valves were bigger too. Is that true?

edit: saw in the last post that someone said all the 92-95's are all the same. good. I had thought so.

It's my (relatively well-informed) understanding that the engine is the same in all '92-95 EX and Si Civics. If they are spec'd differently in the ITCS, it's likely an error.

You are correct Kirk. The spec line that SCCA has is wrong. All 92-95 SI and EX have the same motor. Right now, we are trying to take one step at a time. Get both the 92-94 and 94-96 SI both classed in ITA. Once they that happens, then we request the specs to be corrected as follow:
    1. Only one spec line (entry) for all years with the specs currently listed for the 94-96 year.
    2. Drop the 96 (different model year)

    Steve,

The 92-95 Si's are SOHC Vtec engines. ~125hp.
