Tranny switch

Folks, I have an opportunity to get a tranny from an A2 Golf with a quaife in it - I want to run it in my A1 Scirocco. Can I simply swap the differential spindles from the 100m to my 90mm and will it work okay? thanks

Yes, it should. Why not just convert the inside CV's and stay with the 100mm units?

Not sure if doing that is legal, but you also might have to watch out for the ratio's as well.

But the 020 box works in both the A1 and A2 chassis.
