Has anybody received their 2005 GCR hard copy yet? I got my novice permit last December so I should be qualified to receive it, but haven't yet...
TIA!

My wife got hers in the mail yesterday.
I am still waiting for mine.
So much for the club saying "All 2005 GCRs will be mailed on January 6th".
I LOVE the SCCA.
cheers

The real question is what shape was the GCR in when you got it? Some books evidently were shipped with only a rubber band holding the package together; others were shrink wrapped. Contact SCCA if yours showed up mangled by the Postal Service.
Last week... looks thinner
Maybe just the paper

NOPE! Not "just the paper". Look at this year's PDF file size (soft-copy) vs. last year's. The 2005 file is substantially smaller.Originally posted by erlrich:

Now the big question; What did they take out????
BTW, got mine early in the week.

Thanks for the reassurance. I was starting to get worried that maybe they changed their minds about giving them out to Novice Permit holders too...
I was surprised to receive the GCR before I've paid for my upcoming year's dues since the cost is being included in this year's dues. It just seemed a bit odd from a business perspective. The loss from non-renewing members may not be that significant, but recalling the stat came out about high turnover made me think a bit about it. Then again it may have been a more efficient way of doing it?

nope, mine came in the mail friday... shrinkwraped. as for the novice permit, becuase of 3 blown headgaskets in 3 races (the last happened in the pits with 15 min left in the ECR, so I got credit for that one) i still have mine for 2 more months. so that's not an excuse.

So when should I start calling the merchandising department if I haven't received my GCR yet?
Anybody else still not have theirs?
I got a card in the mail from SCCA that said "Presorted Bound Printed Matter" and "USPS AFSM 100 Approved Polywrap". Had my address on one side and was blank on the other side. No book with it. I'm guessing the book's "in the mail" and this card got separated from it. Guess I'll have to call Topeka.

I emailed them last week and received my hardcopy today. As per the SCCA web site, if you have not received yours yet email Wyndi McCormick at [email protected]
Thanks Greg, I went ahead and emailed Wyndi... I guess I need to look harder through the web-site to find this information. The SCCA web-site is really hard to navigate.
