This section blows...
Doesn't anyone on NP/SP race an IT car?
Who is coming to Rose Cup this year?
-
Hey. I race an IT car. I've driven at Portland before, it's great! But it's too far from Los Angeles for me.

I race a Spec RX7 now, but am thinking about a change. And the Rose Cup sounds like a lot of fun, but it is 1400 miles each way.

Joe, not this year. Still working on fixing the damage from 2003's Rose Cup and starting a new job on Monday.
I did like the fact that you can paddock in the grass. I imagine that it's not the greatest when it's raining, wait, it's Oregon, its supposed to rain all the time.

Yeah I like that also. Rain? Seam to recall a monsoon at Thunderhill...(which I now know how it was named)
-
Yes, it was pretty wet there for the National. Strange thing, is that it was DRY from drivers school. Now THAT's what I call "entertainment"

Joe,
We have been tossing around the idea of showing up and giving the ITS guys a rough time but it would be a Sunday only thing.
The regional schedule just sucks for us out of towners.

Yes it does. But the weekend is fun.
-
I went through the Cal Club Super School at Streets of Willow in Februay '04 with a 500 hp turbo ZX on Hoosier R3S03s where it rained on and off all weekend.
It was fun until the left rear wheel studs all sheared off on a slow corner, I think the car was trying to tell me something.

I race an ITS RX-7 in/around NW Region.
I think that Darin the 240SX guy does also. (In fact I think he lives right near my house.) Although I have actually not seen him there yet.
