Well, my theory is if you can't outrun 'em try to outlast em'. That didn't work out so well on Sunday, now did it?

I think Bob was a little miffed at me Saturday. We considered pulling all the 94+ Miata's restrictor plates for a compliance check, but I didn't have a set of calipers with me that had been through a calibration lab recently. If I found somebody oversize then what?

I can see it now: "Well, I think you're illegal, but my calipers haven't been checked in a year so you may really be OK". Somehow I don't think that would go over very well.

Stay tuned, everybody will be back through impound sometime between now and October...
