My old ITC Rabbit:
Spec Weight: 2000
Actual Weight: 1850
Driver Weight: 135
I had to race with a full tank of gas to finish with enough gas to make it so I was above weight.

Hey Darin. I would like to submit the idea of bringing the weight down of cars that are too heavy for their class. For example, I was looking at the 86-89 Celica GTS and they are over 2600 lbs. at 135hp. If we look at the current top runners in ITA, all have a power to weight in the neighborhood of 19-17. If we could shave 100-150lbs off a lot of cars, then we would open up the class so its not a Honda vs. Nissan thing. Is that being looked at? I use the Celica as an example because they are common, have some aftermarket support, and are very durable. What do you think?
