Many of you have already see the pictures in the ITE gallery of the damage suffered to my Mustang last weekend.

I am at a loss to explain how he did so much damage to the car.
The steering spindle -- a cast steel piece -- was bent
The inner tie-rod end -- bent
The strut -- bent..
But somehow the wheel itself, did not fail under the impact.
Yet it had to transfer the energy of the impact to all the above items.

Makes you wonder if I would be better off using a 'light-weight' racing wheel, rather than the OE Ford part.
That way, I might be replacing just a wheel, rather than all these parts.
