Default Thoughts on moving up a class in IT

What are every ones thoughts on cars being allowed to move up a class in IT? For example running an ITA car in ITS at an appropriate weight. Down here in Central Florida ITA numbers are dwindling. ITS has a much larger field and I was thinking my ITA car might be competitive at a lower weight in ITS. Is it worth writing a letter? Any idea what the minimum weight for 1994 Miata would be if it was allowed to run ITS? This forum needs content so lets have a decent discussion.

CRB has approved "dual classification" for a lot of cars. My '08 Civic Si, for example, is classified in both ITS and ITR.

    Send 'em a request.

Thanks Greg. I used to have a copy of "The Process" but can't find it. Any idea what the weight would be on a 1994 Miata if run through ITS?

I don't. But for general reference, my car in ITS is 3000# and it's 2655# in ITR...
