    The time is drawing closer

Millville NJ, September 2018. The countdown clock is ticking - 30 days .... 29 days .... until The Devil in the Dark 2018 12 Hour endurance race. The annual race around the clock is just about upon us - time to finalize plans for the event. Are you in for this year's race? Are you ready to take the challenge?

The Devil 12 Hour is the only current SCCA long distance endurance race. Its traditional day into night format continues to be a popular attraction for endurance teams. This year its date has been moved to the end of October to avoid the early/mid season schedule conflicts.

The event registration is available on MotorsportReg (direct registration link).

Again this year there will be a companion race concurrent with the 12 Hour - The Devil during the Day 6 Hour race. There will be separate results and trophies for the 6 Hour which will feature the Spec Racer Endurance Challenge.

The 12 Hour / 6 Hour endurance races are open to production based cars running on DOT approved or TW180+ tires. "If it is safe, it can race". All recognized road racing licenses are accepted. The supplemental regulations for the 2018 event are on the Region website. Contact Chief Steward Terry Hanushek for any questions or clarifications.

    Testing

There will be an SCCA Test Day on Friday, 26 October for 12 / 6 Hour competitors and other closed wheel cars - you do not need to be a 12 Hour entrant to test

Racing around the clock again in 2018!

    27 October 2018

Did you get our Administrative Bulletin 1? Your original copy was sent to your RST address and bounced. I then forwarded a copy to your Gmail address. If you still do not have it, shoot me an email where I can send it.

Admin Bulletin 1 contains information on pit assignments. Pit requests are due next Tuesday (10/23). Pit assignments will probably be completed by 10/24.

    See ta at The Devil
