On a national level I don’t think sit would especially with limited prep, 3000lbs or so (weight), and if needed a T4 (60mm) restrictor... at Indy the top FP cars were turning 1:53’s. Would be a challenge IMO, but would be a good, inexpensive car for the class. Would never build one for EP, doesn’t stand a chance IMO!
