    Default Old New Hoosiers

Friend of mine has an 8 year old set of unused R6 Hoosiers. Date code 2806. They have been in the garage in black plastic garbage bags.

    Value???

Crazy that I just posted a set of Hoosier Wets TODAY on NER.org with a date code of 0806. 275/40/17's. New never touched the ground.

Whatever the market would bear...I know some folks that will not use sets older than 11(s).

Others? They are OK. About 40% of retail is a good starting place.

I've got mine for $100 each new now $322. I'm good with that price.

I had a set of HWETs from that first run- about 2806 or something date code. hard as rocks and I had better luck on dry tires with fresh rubber.

Unless they were stored in climate controlled area, I'm not sure I'd bother doing anything with them except tire swings.

sorry- tried the cheap old tire route and it didn't work well.

Understood! These have been in bags and in dry climate controlled for their whole life but for sure aren't what they would have been.

That's what I figured. They belong to a buddy and he plans on using them when he eventually gets his car back on the track but I was wondering about doing him a favor and taking them now. He won't let them go at $100 and anyway it sounds liek I don't really want them
