Do any of you high tech people use load cells and or know where to source them ? I need to measure about 0-10,000# at 3 points.
Any data or leads to data are helpfull.
TIA, MM

Honeywell, HBM, etc.. are the big high reliability OEMs, there are your standard supply houses for sensors like Omega who carry or make them, and you can get much better prices on lesser pieces from the hardcore hobbyist robot supply companies. or bust up some old corner scales and extract the cells from them.
Thanks Chip , found this that should work;

I dont need actual values- just relative #s.
This also works for spring rate checking.

I know this is a little old, but I have a list of sensor manufacturers at http://www.trailbrake.net/data-systems.html Look through and you'll see who does load cells.
