Thumbs up DC Region announces 2014 MARRS schedule

The 2014 MARRS schedule was finalized today and is:
    1. April 12-13 at Summit Point (part of NE Divisional Series)
    2. May 10-11 MARRS/SARRC at VIR
    3. June 21-22 at Summit Point (incl. Carolina Cup Pro Series)
    4. July 12-13 at Summit Point
    5. Aug 9-10 at Pocono Raceway (part of the NE Divisional Series)
    6. Aug 30-Sept 1 at Summit Point (Labor Day Double)
    7. Oct 4-5 at Summit Point

The VIR and Pocono dates are likely doubles, with the possibility of a 3rd day of non-MARRS/SARRC racing being added to the VIR date.

If you have any questions, fire away!

It's where the "Cat Killer" could become the "Deer Killer."

No NJMP indeed. Looks like I trade one race in my backyard for another (Pocono). At least I know some good places to eat/stay there.

We should probably have word on at least Pocono by mid-January. VIR is definitely a Double, it's just that a 3rd day of non-MARRS/SARRC races might be added.

As for test days as Summit, they are conducted by track management and are always the day before our MARRS events (on Friday). I suspect the same will hold true for our Majors event in August as well (which means it would be on Thursday).
