Default The Kogan SM/SM2/ITA car needs a New Home !

The Kogan # 38 Miata is For Sale. Can't believe we are doing this but issues with my back and our eventual move to Calif means no more racing. Linda and I are pretty sad but the car deserves to be driven hard ! (Call Phil Kogan 617-306-7312) [email protected]
Car is in Central MA South of Worcester.

Here is a link to the ad on the Miata forum http://mazdaracers.com/classifieds/i...16-spec-miata/

This has been a great car and would be a terrific car if you are considering going to SM2 for some close racing. Great car for a family or a small group to use for multiple classes. This car is well balanced and super reliable. Just add gas and change tires when you want to go faster. That is about it for raceday maintenance.

Car, Trailer, 5 Sets of wheels, spares including hood, door, rear bumper cover, rear subframe $ 10,500.

Delivery can be arranged in New England. Car was last run at BMW club DE day at NHMS.

This car is way Wicked Fun ! at a DE Day. It sure pisses off a lot of people in "Fast Cars"

This is a really sweet Miata! Every Spec Miata has its own character - some are easy to drive, some are fast, some are fun, some feel like they are "constipated", others are stiff, understeer, oversteer, etc, etc.
Phil & Linda's 1.6 is one of the sweetest cars around! I drove it briefly a couple of years ago and came out grinning. I have driven lots of other 1.6s as well as '95s, and '99s. This is definitely up there.
If you are getting into Spec Miata, or if you want a second car, or if 1.6s are competitive in your region (it really depends on the track you're racing them), or if you're looking for a racecar you can run in many classes (ITA, SM, SSM, SM2, STL) then seriously consider it -- can't beat this for the fun-to-money ratio!
I would consider it myself if I didn't already own two Spec Miatas...
