    Default Logbook Question

I am racing the ARRC enduro (November 3) and have a logbook question. (Unless my car ends up selling before hand)

I always arrive Thursday to be at the test day and register then for the weekend. My last annual was done on 11-1-2012. My question is, if I register for the weekend before 11-1-2013, even though my race is after 11-1-2013, does it need an annual for that weekend and can it have an annual done before its "expiration date?"

I only ask as I know tech can be busy at the ARRC and wanted to arrive knowing what I should do, I'd get it done before hand but won't have much time and don't have a trailer to take it anywhere so have always just had it done at the track.

    Thanks!

Since the event begins on 11-1-2013, you are probably good as long as you get tech'd on Friday.

You can get another annual done on-site. - GA

They'll usually let you slide if it's right at 1-year. however, if you know the car is going to pass annual tech, then just get it done sometime during the test day or early during registration..

As soon as you get there, go find a tech guy and tell them you need an annual, ask them when would be the best time to come by and get the annual done.

Usually I get mine done at 10-11 months just because I'll look over and the tech guys are about to fall asleep with boredom Sat morning, so I just run it by and get it done when there's no wait.

Another point - having a recent annual inspection will make your car easier to sell,
