    Default SCCA Runoffs

    7 entries in STU

20 entries in STL (several double dipping SM's)

Anyone else thinking about going to the 50th Runoffs?

I looked hard at taking the Jetta TDI to run STU but had additional work travel commitments get jammed in the week before. That would have left me out of the house/office for more than three weeks. I couldn't do that to my wife and didn't want to set a crappy example my first summer after taking over management of the company, so I (sadly) pulled the plug on the idea.

I'm planning on it. Just waiting until the last minute before they suck the money out of me.

Moving along.... nothing to see here....

Scruteneer away, you'll find my car ST legal. I'm even going to have the front half of the cage redone, so I can have a dash bar installed.

    SWEEEEEEEEET!

Dick Patullo and I are planning to "slum" out in the free paddocking area. When are you arriving? We *must* get together, you won't regret it.

    Mostly.

hoping to be there to help sort toms pile with him, I helped build it, I made him buy the b16 swap, I suppose I should see it race.

If he picks up that track a bit, that car should have potential!

Speaking of which, Mark Hoover, driver of the #98 Hooverspeed Miata in STU was disqualified for an illegal Turbo Inlet Restrictor. He was also protested for an illegal turbo and illegal traction control, which he admitted to on camera no less, but the illegal TIR was enough to get him tossed.

I ended up third following impound after Hoover got busted for cheating.
