    Default Fuel Smell

In the Civic Si, I get a faint raw fuel smell while running. I've tried to locate any obvious leaks but haven't found any.

Any suggestions of where to look and how to confirm?

Thanks for any help. I know it's a pretty broad question.

Do you have aeroquip lines carrying fuel through the interior?

Those emit fuel odors--normal. If not, there is some kind of leak or venting going on.

Nope. No aeroquip lines. Thought it might be injector seals but have seen no evidence nor smelled especially strong gas smell at the fuel rail.

Some "weepers" occur at the fuel pump connections on top of the tank prior to major failure due to corrosion.

I'd be looking there. Otherwise, did you remove charcoal canister from the vent line under the engine? If so then your fuel tank is venting there.

Still have charcoal canister. I will look closely at top of tank. Car came from NE so a fair amount of rust/corrosion.

    Thanks
