    Default CMP Memorial Monster

Registration is now open for the Memorial Monster at Carolina Motorsports Park. We have a Double SARRC, Double Carolina Cup Pro Series, And added for this year are Double Atlanta Pro IT series races that run with the CCPS group. Atlanta has plans to add a CCPS to a later race this year. Looking forward to giving drivers of the Pro IT a chance to race more and have a bigger prize fund. Pro IT will be a part of the Charlotte Motor Speedway race in August as well.

Track will hold a test day on Friday.

    Registration Link on DLB http://www.dlbracing.com/default.aspx?view=2

If you want to run a different combination of races than what we have prices for just email the registrar and we will work out a discount for you. If you wish to register for multiple races and share the car with someone we will still give you the multiple race discount.

Guests are welcome and need only sign the track waiver to enter. Will need to be on a crew list for hot areas. Camping is allowed on site. We will again have express tech set up at registration so bring your log book only if you have an annual already. One stop and done. Cookout Saturday Night, and everyone is invited.

    See you there!!

    Hi Travers

When you come to registration window bring your car log book if you already have an annual tech. We have a tent set up outside so you can finish registration and just walk over and get your tech sticker for the weekend. No need to even go by the tech shed. Just making it easy.

That's a great idea. It will make things move along much quicker as I recall from prior years.

I'll contact you about an annual. Have all the stuff on the car updated so I should be ready.

    Thanks

    Must.....keep.....wrenching......

I think the test day is like $200 or something, maybe it was more. But the buggers won't do a partial day....I remember the price being quite fair for 4-5 sessions but not for 2.

Looking like another awesome CMP race weekend. In for dual SARRCs and a CCPS. I've got a kitchen pass for the entire weekend this go around, looking forward to it.

I'll be there with the 944 and dad should be with his IT7 Mazda. First race for me in the 944. Should be interesting! I think we'll do both SARRC and probably CCPS as well.

    Can't wait!!

Track day is usually low key. let the track know you'll be there so they can plan run groups. Sylvia Patterson is the lady I usually talk to. I don't recall cost but not too bad.

Dave and I will be splitting duty in his ITB Del Slo as I haven't finished mending my MR2 fully yet. looks like we'll have the other 3 MR2s (all the Ulbriks) and maybe another civic as well.

    good times.

    ITA/ITS entries are looking good!

Neil Harrison is showing entered in ITS, is this a mistake or did he switch to a twin cam?

Yes, Neil built a twin cam. Excited to see how it does (Dennis Shaw built the motor).
