    Default Any IT7R Builds?

Anyone in the process of building an IT7R car? I'd be interested in exchanging information.

Dan Shepherd? No, he's too busy building an empire of IT7(naught) cars...soon to be IT7 King.

Aren't these conversions kinda pricy? Dan just bought another running IT7 car for ~$1500 (I will be renting it for some racing this year). Seems no matter how many of them you kill, there's another one 'round the corner looking for a new home...I was gonna say "kinda like cockroaches" but I better not. - GA

All posts are made by a fat old guy with a crappy old car that isnt supported by a factory anymore and therefore should not be taken seriously, EVER

Can you run the larger brakes with the old 12A with the 50# penalty?

Also, isn't the big brakes a 5 lug pattern that requires either replacing (Moser Axles) or re-drilling of the factory axles?

Those rules apply ONLY to the IT7R class, (Which I note requires stock gearing and increased weight AND spec intake and exhaust headers)..
IT-7, which is where the 12A runs, allows no brake options. (with or without extra weight), and has an minimum weight of 2280.
