S2000 stolen last night

I know chance of recovery is slim, but if the nefarious can be punished........

My daughters’ S2000 went missing last night from an assigned, off street parking spot. Near north side of Chicago (2900 N Clark St. area)

2001, silver, black interior. Clean. Stock wheels, Illinois plates 1777749, VIN JHMAP11451T002977. Police report has been filed.

I'm putting this up here (and the sandbox) just in case any of you come accross it.

Update 11/15: Car was “found” 14 days after theft, taken to a city pound by Chicago City police. I was notified by mail (no phone call) 9 days later.

Car was stripped of engine, transmission, OEM wheels, badges, headlights, taillights, seats, steering wheel & instrument cluster. Car was NOT stripped of collision items; sheet metal, glass or aluminum hood.
