Default Sebring, 2012,vs 2011, How much slower?

The T 1 , entry radius is 9ft smaller now. How much slower are your lap times??
    I get 4-5mph slower thru T 1 and into the T3 brake zone , about .6-1 sec per lap.( 93- 88)
We stayed in 5th gear before the change and now often go to 4th.
The same ITB car went 2:45 now goes 6and 7s

Maybe we should try to get the lap records reset.

a pile of records were reset in jan/feb of this year, with the changes. blame the weather if you want, but I'd say the track isn't much slower

    I am looking only @ T 1 - T 3 data. The radius is smaller . No question that the T 1 is slower.
The SM has changed to faster tires. Tires are better, track is slower.
Air density/track temp is optimal @ around 75*, usually between 10 and 11 AM for sebring.
What is the procedure for resetting the track records?

Edit new T 1 was pre Jan 6.
No big deal I guess. that last .6 is getting harder tho.

the pit wall extension was partly done in january, cones were used to simulate the completed work, too, so the available track surface was basically the same as it is now. the T17 change was also done then.

    Stephen,
I was looking for other data to support mine.

I will check with the Cup car guy that I work with.

Only thing data does is display weakness.

At the Feb regional this year, I ran a tenth off my best time ever(33.9), set just after the re-pave in '02, I think.

The wall is a visual distraction and I will admit has reduced about 10 ft of turn in track.

Data is for driver improvement. Looks liker the driver has some improving to do.
