Don't need to emphaside the event as much since we're no longer the last chance to sell some tickets, unfortunately. Much bigger Grand-Am show the next weekend is deservedly stealing focus.

Last day to register online: Mon Sep 17, 2012 *Closes at 5:00A
    Eastern time!*

The entry fee for the event is $385. A $50 late fee may be
charged for entries and fees not received by September 18.

Withdrawal of Entry – A written request for withdrawing an entry
and receiving a refund in the event that a car cannot compete (car
never sets a tire on the track) may be made at registration. A
request for refund - driver cancellations or withdrawal of entry
    - must be made in writing and postmarked no later than five days
after the event. Refunds less $50 will be handled by check
within 21 days after the event.

(note... it says refunds by check, not credit for a future race)

Not a fan of the $50 fee. It doesn't cost anything to have cars register online... This is a club NOT a business. We might try to make an event but the wheels don't always go on right, adding fees for failing to make an event sure doesn't encourage people to register.

I totally agree ... I just cut and paste from the supps so
everyone could see that a noshow was a REFUND, not a CREDIT

and to remind everyone that time is short!

I'm not exactly certain of the arrangements but I believe that MotorsportsReg charges a fairly hefty fee for an online registration with a credit card payment (3 to 5%). I'm not certain about cancellation fees in MSR. The region does incur an expense but probably short of $50.

I never pay online for fear of not going and the hassle of a refund... Would rather pay with cash or check at the gate! Also a 3-5% discount on our entry is worth collecting fees upon arrival IMO but I am sure the registras would disagree and quite frankly they are more important!

But enough with that discussion on this thead... What are the predictions??? Will we see any new track records???

    Hay Ray,
I dont see you on the reg list yet ..(and I still have to look for that trans part yet too...)

And here's a prediction ....Audi 1-2....Boo Ya !! (pending on Ray coming )

And the last time I ran this race in 2010 ITR,ITS and ITB were the last race of the day..it was super "fun" looking into the sun going down no-name and going into the uphill.

Might be a couple of VWs, and at least one Volvo and a Honda that might put the Audis out of the top 3. I'll just try to stay out of y'all's way when you're lapping me. Havin' trouble gettin' our Honda to make acceptable HP. Prolly the only B car in the field with double digit HP!

Shane's engine had an issue during qualifying last race. I do not believe he will be there.

And I just read that Steve F. rolled his car at WGI...didn't hear a report on the driver either. Anyone?

Edit: Just read he is fine. Car is toast.

Just looked at the SM2 times and the ITA times from the event earlier this year. Let's put it this way, ITA needs to step it up if they want any part of the first 2 rows!!!

Was that before or after the added SM2 weight that would need to be added to comply with ITA?

    So here are my predictions!!

ITR Dave Maynard with a new track record and the FIRST IT CAR to post a race time sub 1min!
I am going to try like hell for a top 3. I know that seems like a lame goal with only 4 cars BUT all three of them are quick and reliable.

ITS An RX7 (With 5 of them running the chances are good!) But I think in the end it will honestly be Glenn Lawton. I know Dugans goal is to get that Corrado in the top 3 and I honestly think he can do it!

ITA Andy Sorry guys but I just can't see anyone else turning 1minute flat times!

ITB This is the toughest and probably will be one of the best races of the weekend. I am going to go with Travis But I do think at least 6 others could have a chance!

    IT7 Norm

Our goal as RSTPerformance.com is to sweep all classes in group 8 with podium finishes in each class (Not wins but top 3's!)

How late can crew still get into the track on Sat?

Anyone have an extra crew spot? I think if someone is the entrant, someone else is the driver that means there are only 3 extra crew spots left, but am not positive.
