good stuff....you must have teh 3.94 or 4.12 r&p? Is the diff welded or a quaiffe? I'd reccommend less engine braking to save on the equipment.

Sorry jungle i never saw your post but im running a 4.24 r&p with a wavetrak diff. This is the first seasson with the car and weve learned alot about the car so far. What weve learned is its very nose heavy and like to plow. Lol oh and brake axels! We broke 7 this year gotta find some better axels this winter and maybe a drive line/ motor mount issue. But we will be back next year faster and stronger! Thanks for all the support from the guys at RST Performance and to everybody that said i was crazy to build this car your right i was crazy for not doing it sooner!!!!! On another note does anybody have a rear sway bar they would like to part with it would be for this car. I heard that shine racing was done and gone so that is out other wise i will have to buy one from some other company.

what sort of suspension are you running? and what tire pressures?

I have an used Autotech mkIII hollow bar, I'd sell it to you cheap...shipping would be interesting.

For the previous chump car which was a 4cyl; we ran Mike Ogren's axles. He uses stronger cages, slightly smaller balls, and a quality grease. I am sure he can do the same for VR axles. Otherwise DSS makes them for the high HP drag guys.

Im using bilstein struts front springs are 800lbs rears are 650 with no bars front or rear. Definitely need a rear bar and i was thinking maybe even a little more front spring but gonna start with a rear bar and go from there. The last time at LRP i was running 3.8 degrees of camber driver front and 3.5 on the passenger and was using the inside curbing. The car was very hooked up and i was on my "a" game. I run hoosier R6 225/45/15 with hot pressures 40 but temps are at 200 even across the tire. Thinking im gonna try some different tires next year any suggestions? I was gonna try the good years and maybe even do a 205 in the rear to help the car rotate a little more. Any suggestions are welcome. I turned a 102.1 ( first in class) at LRP so im right where i need to be with the set up now. But faster is better:026:
