    Default Coilover Preferences

Did a search but no joy. What are people's preferences or what are you using for coilover sleeves on your Hondas? Planning on Koni shocks.

Looks like the two obvious choices are GC or Koni sleeves. Opinions?

    Thanks

    PS It's for a 2000 Si.

Save a mint and just get a full ebay set for $30. Throw out the springs and get some Eibachs. Easy peasy. I've put them on a 4 different cars now. (I've even used the springs on several of the cars, but watch out - most are like 800lb/in!)

I have used Koni sleeves (with Koni dampers) on my 90/92 Integra for 10 years with no issues [except the plastic Teflone ring that the spring sits on broke after 5 years, Koni shipped me replacement plastic rings]

Posted in your other thread about this.

I bought piece parts; Sleeves and Koni adapters from Skunk2. I already had Eibach springs though and only needed two coil overs.

Both are good choices... the GC is typically a 2.5" spring versus the Koni with 2.25's. Obviously one is lighter than the other and the 2.5's seem a little easier to find used.
