    Default Tire opinion

I would like some opinions about which tires I should use for my double racing school at Summit Point next week. I have a set of unshaved r888's with 4 heat cycles and a set of shaved (4/32) ra1's with about 6 heat cycles. I figured, I would wear out whichever set I use in the school. So here's my question: should I use my r888's for the school and save my ra1's for my first couple of races; of vice versa? Any and all opinions welcomed and appreciated.

I would run the r888. Not as good a tire in my opinion. Only thing to watch will be the weather. If its real warm the full tread tires my chunk a little if they are still full tread and you push them to hard

As of now, the weather is forecasted for low 70's and sunny. Also, I drive an ITA Miata, and I plan to drive the wheels off it. Figuratively speaking.
