Default VW changes in prod classes

Anyone notice the new changes in A2 and A3 level 2 prep cars in production in fast track? The 16v cars moved down from E to F and the A3 got more compression and cam. I wonder how well those would fit there now. Before this I had figured the A1 had a shot in F as a level 1 car, and the A1 and A2 have proven competitive in H as level 2 cars.

It is nice to see that there might be some more options.

I like the sound of the A3 with the 2.0 motor. I'm thinking you could get that to go faster/ cheaper than the 16V. I like the compression and lift. Plus I like the A3 chassis better.
However, If I already had a nice A2, it would be more cost effective to Plop a 16V motor in it.

I think that the prior compression for the Mk 3 was an oversite. Allo f the rest are at 11.5 or 12- 1.
I still dont see why the VWs have different compression and cam lift .

The 8 valve gets 12:1, that's what makes me like the 2.0 motor. 12:1 and .040" overbore = torque
