    Default Lime Rock June 9

For scheduling purposes, I'm trying to figure out how the June 9 event at Lime Rock will go. It's a NARRC double, but does anybody know the logistics? Should we expect qualifying June 8? If so, one session or 2?

    Thanks!

This will be the third year with the same format. Friday has one qualifying for each race group interspersed with a one run group (closed wheel) driver’s school. Saturday will be two rounds of races.
In the past both races were NERRC and the afternoon race was NARRC. This year both races are NARRC and NERRC.

If a person cannot make Friday qualifying, do they start from the back of the pack or from the pits on race day(s) for this event? thanks Eric Heinrich GULF E30 M3 STU

Yes you can start race one from the back of the pack. I can’t remember if the second race grid is set by race one finishing order or race one fasted lap. Will have to check the supps when they come out.

Only one catch to that... 38 cars allowed and possibly 42 with waiver. So check with a buddy to see how many cars qualify and then be the first to grid!

True, but with the double NARRC and limited (Awesome) NARRC schedule it could be very well subscribed! It would be awesome to see some big race groups.

Sometimes, I do. Did you run in 2011? Is your car ready for 2012? Do you even have a car?

Sincerely, I hope you stay in ITA and I hope you get your New Englandy ass prepped and ready to run at Northeast tracks other than the ones in New Enlgand... cough cough.

    Wink

Last year we had only one class at max. capacity prior to the event and with no shows we got lucky. Guess what class???
As far as run groups, we had one oversubscribed group days before the event. We moved some of the classes to another group and notified those effected via email.
